Obtaining an EZproxy license

Navigator participants that do not already own a license may apply for a non-cost license following normal EZproxy ordering procedures which can be found at

 http://www.oclc.org/ezproxy/ordering/default.htm

Participants should complete all required fields on the order form and enter the following text "NRE Participant – No Charge" in the COMMENTS area at the bottom of the PDF form indicating that the license is for an NRE participant. Please include your institution name and symbol.

The licensing agreement is included in the PDF document and indicates the valid uses of EZproxy, including under what circumstances multiple copies of EZproxy can be used. Also indicated is the valid use of EZproxy on multiple servers.

Navigator licensing allows for running an authentication only EZproxy server as an alternative to integrating authentication requirements into any existing EZproxy server that is used to proxy content.
